Day 15

The morning was spent putting the doors and such back on the build, then hooking up the gas tank and attaching the seats. It would once again be moving under its own weight.

The cold December morning brought rain, and by the afternoon there were big fat flakes of snow quickly falling from the sky. It was perfect timing on our end if you ask me. Fresh snow is great for photographs.

The Land Cruiser will now sit in the woods behind the garage for the winter, patiently waiting for spring to arrive. Then it will be back to work on the final touches to get this thing legally on the road.

And that’s the end…for now. The dirty hunk of metal has transformed into something new. And there are many miles of adventure ahead in 2021.

In addition to today’s post, I’ve also published my top picks. 4 months, start to finish, all in one gallery. Click this link to view it!
