The primer has been applied and it’s time for paint!
Tan and black Raptor paint were the colors that got picked. The heavy-duty textured paint will hide imperfections and stand up well against the rough abuse the truck will face in the woods once it’s off-road. Tan will also look decent even if it’s covered in mud and dirt, and the black accents create a nice contrast.
Taping up the truck was the most time-consuming part of the painting process. Using plastic and tape to make sure what wasn’t supposed to be painted remained untouched.
After the paint dries the pieces get put back together for the big reveal. A major milestone in the build is just around the corner.
