It will look worse before it looks better.
Day 2 in the garage had me feeling more excited to see where this project ends up. More things were getting cut that day. As you’ll see, the back end of the LC got taken off, revealing more mud and surface rust. But nothing that wasn’t to be expected.
It’s pretty wild actually. The back end is merely a skeleton, the bare-bones of what will be a flatbed. There was quite a bit of discussion about design decisions that could be made, material that could be cut off but kept the truck street legal in the end. Because you know, what’s the point of building this if it cant be on the road?
Fun fact: If you were to stack two of the Land Cruisers tires upright on top of each other, they would be taller than me. Yes, we measured.
